MODERN EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGIES FOR OPTIMIZING THE TEACHING OF PRACTICAL SKILLS OF FUTURE BACHELORS OF NURSING IN THE PROCESS OF STUDYING THE DISCIPLINE OF OBSTETRICS AND GYNECOLOGY

Abstract

In modern conditions, the training of medical personnel, especially competent nursing specialists, is one of the most important areas for improving the system of medical care for the population. The quality of professional training of nursing specialists undoubtedly affects the quality of nursing care and medical care in general. Therefore, in the training of future bachelors of nursing, the main role is given to the formation of a model of professional activity through the development of professional and general competencies during practical training. The key task of the teacher is not just to transfer knowledge, but to stimulate students to take the initiative and find ways to apply the acquired knowledge in solving various problematic tasks, to form the personality of specialists capable of continuous self-development. Often, even excellent knowledge of the theory by students does not ensure their implementation in the clinic, as they do not have proper manual skills and are forced to acquire them by working directly with patients.The practice-oriented training of bachelors of nursing in the process of studying obstetrics and gynecology is ensured by the use of various technologies in practical classes that immerse students in professional activities: solving situational tasks, case-study, performing manipulations according to an algorithm, conducting role-playing games and conference classes. The use of modern educational technologies in optimizing the teaching of practical skills of future bachelors of nursing in the process of studying obstetrics and gynecology disciplines increases their creative activity, lays the foundation for the professional competence of specialists, activates the cognitive activity of students, which contributes to the effectiveness of professional training.
