Acne is one of the most common dermatological diseases in adolescents and often leads to significant psychosocial problems, reduced self-esteem, anxiety, and depression due to the visibility of facial lesions. The aim of the study was to investigate the role of pharmaceutical care in the pharmacocosmetological support of adolescents with acne. A complex of general scientific and special methods: theoretical, generalization method, data systematization, comparison, methods of studying literary sources, analysis, questionnaire have been used in the present work. A questionnaire survey was conducted among 40 pharmacy visitors (adolescents) who addressed pharmacy for drugs for the treatment of acne in teenagers. The survey results showed that 80% of respondents had previous experience using drugs for the treatment of acne. Only 27.5% of adolescents consulted a doctor. The vast majority of adolescents (75%) received comprehensive information from pharmacists regarding the rational use of medications, as well as possible side effects. Almost a quarter of adolescents (22.5%) sought cosmetology services for acne treatment. In most adolescents (60%), acne was accompanied by mild or moderate psychosocial impact, but in some patients it led to a significant decrease in self-esteem and social activity. Conclusions. A comprehensive and individualized approach to treating acne in adolescents is based on close collaboration between physicians and pharmaceutical professionals (pharmacists and pharmacists-cosmetologists). Pharmacists promote the rational use of drugs and cosmeceuticals, prevent irresponsible self-medication, and improve compliance, which ensures the effectiveness and safety of therapy and improves the quality of life of adolescents
